I stayed at the Yesteryear in 1981 while on business. It was beautiful. I was also born in Kankakee. Glad to see it is being preserved.

I just found this site and was so pleased to hear about the restoration. This house has had a special place in our hearts since we had our wedding rehersal dinner on June 12, 1963 when it was the Yesteryear.

I can't wait to tour the house. I've always admired and have seen many of FLW homes in my travels. I wasn't aware there was a FLW home in Kankakee.

I loved my tour today of the Bradley House. It was my first time at the home since my wedding shower in 1973. Thank you for saving this beautiful structure for others to enjoy!

It was a double pleasure for us, after 35 years, to re-visit the site of our honeymoon night and morning after at the Yesteryear. We slept in the master suite in the since demolished, non-Wright addition that existed between the stable and house ... ;-(
